Visitor Information

Mousehole is a small fishing Village located in Mounts Bay, Cornwall. During the Summer the village is alive with visitors making the most of the rocky beaches, sandy harbour and cornish Sunshine (Albeit sometimes wet!). During the winter months the harbour is closed off to protect the boats, village and of course the Christmas lights. If you are planning a visit to Mousehole to see the Christmas Lights, then be prepared as parking is very limited. You may have to park on the outskirts of the village and walk in. The best way to travel is using the local Bus service and park in Penzance or Newlyn, this reduces the traffic in the village and also helps keep our carbon footprint to a minimum. The village is ablaze with colour whilst the lights are on and the only way to maximise your visit is to walk around the narrow streets. Follow the winding strings of lanterns as they disappear around the corner and into yet another street barely wide enough to walk through. Enjoy some of the delights of the local gift shops, restaurants, cafes and Pubs. Please give a donation to one of our collectors, if you don't see one, there are collection boxes along the harbour front attached to our poles or you can donate online using our 'PayPal' link on our homepage.
