BEHIND THE LENS

 

​If you give up a career in Global Marketing to pursue your lifelong passion in photography and uproot your family from the leafy Home Counties to the rugged Cornish coast some may say ''you're mad''! Others may say ''how brave'' or even ''how lucky''. All I do know is there's no going back and I'm happier than I've ever been! I'm now regularly seen at the rugby clubs around Cornwall taking photos of the Penzance & Newlyn youth teams and also at Marazion Beach where I work with Tremenheere Riding Stables to take photos of their clients on their Beach Rides.

 

 I'm a self taught photographer, although I did do a module while at college in Oxford so I've made lots of mistakes along the way but have learned my craft  well and remain versatile in my approach.  After over 20 years in marketing I know the customer is always right! I'm precious about quality but flexible to your needs so please feel free to discuss any creative thoughts you may have - we can always give it a try! 

 

Feeling relaxed and comfortable in front of the camera helps create the 'magic' so making time to develop a rapport is important to me. If you book me for a project I'll make sure I do my preparation thouroughly including pre shoot consultation and a venue/site  visit to consider lighting and potential angles and views.  Afterwards, there'll be time to discuss the images in more detail and to agree next steps.
